Protesting hundreds of outstanding demolition orders, midday prayers were held in Al Bustan’s protest tent 21 May. Imam Ikrema Subri spoke before the prayers. He addressed the many threats faced by Silwan village, such as the demolitions, and archeological digging under Wadi Hilweh Street which targets Al Aqsa Mosque. The Jerusalem Municipality has said that the demolitions .could begin as early as 15 June.
