Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) —
Yesterday saw very violent confrontations in the Baten Al-Hawa neighbourhood of Silwan. Several Palestinian residents were injured by settlers’ guards, who used live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets. Israeli troops also threw a number of sound bombs. Residents responded by burning the so-called “House of Honey”, which is occupied by a group of settlers, and which has been a source of constant provocation and a threat to the security of local residents.
