Wednesday, 28 July, 2010

Israeli officers visited the house of Dawood Hussain, in the Wadi Hilweh area of Silwan Village.  His house was claimed by the powerful Elad settlement organization in 1997.  A large group comprised of Israeli armed forces, Police, and senior officers came to visit the house, which is now inhabited by settlers. Police have closed off the Wadi Hilweh street during Israeli officers visit, which lasted more than one hour. The reason for the visit is unknown at this time.
